Eglise du Dieu Vivant translated Church of the Living God
began with the first stone being laid by Brother Alfred Pierre, a former member of Mission Par La Foi National. The Church was established in 1988 by Reverend Carl Dimanche and his wife Reverend Darline Pompee Dimanche. Since 1988, more than 50 churches have been planted in addition to the mother church and the number of members grew from 15 to 5,000+ people. It is one of the reformed churches in Jeremie,Haiti that has gathered the most interest from the community in and surrounding communities.

Rev. Carl Dimanche was born in Morne Chadeque, Haiti. He went to high school at Lycée Nord Alexis, College Bethanie and took philosophy at College Naroulado in Jérémie, Haiti. After completing high school he went to Port Au Prince, Haiti to study theology and received his diploma from Séminaire Théologique Nazaréen d’Haiti. A year later, he studied manual accounting at the Institution (CAIFO). He then returned to Jérémie and began studying educational science. He was appointed Head Master of College Bethanie and professor of christian education. Then he was chosen to Pastor Church of the Living God of Jérémie, began preaching in 1991 and currently presides there today. He is the General Secretary for the Federation of the League of Pastors of Grand’Anse(Federation des ligues des Eglises de pasteurs de la Grand’Anse(FLPGA)). A Motivational Speaker and Organizer for national and international conferences. He is the founder and director of Centre des Universitaire Chretiens de Jérémie. Also the founder, director and professor of l’Institut de Théologie Evangélique de Jérémie (ITEJ). As well as the founder and director of Jérémie Automotive Institute Training International (JAITI). He also studied business management. He is President of Mission We Harmony.
He is married to Rev. Darline Pompee Dimanche. She went to primary school at Catrine Flonb and high school at Lycée de Jeune fille. She then went to Port Au Prince, Haiti and attended Séminaire Théologie de l’Eglise de Dieu. She graduated with a diploma in theology. She also studied nursing, business management, cosmetology and cuisine. She is a professor of Greek, Homiletics, Big Prophet and Evangelization at l’Institut de Théologie Evangélique de Jérémie(ITEJ). She was appointed President of the League of Pastor’s Wives of Jérémie(Ligue de la femme des pasteur de Jérémie). She is the Assistant Pastor of Church of the Living God of Jérémie and Co-President of Mission We Harmony. They work in close collaboration with a missionary couple, the Evangelist Daniel Grandin and his wife Cynthia Vientos Grandin for the development of Church of the Living God-Mission We Harmony of Jérémie, Haiti. The members of the executive committee, ask for your prayers for the spiritual, social, economic and environmental progress of the mission.
Daniel Grandin was born and raised in Jérémie, Haiti. He graduated from private school, College du Sacre-Coeur de Jérémie with a diploma d’etudes secondaires baccalaureate 1 and 2. Upon graduation he was given a full scholarship to Centre Technique Saint Gerard to study electrical engineering but the Lord called him to study at the Institut de Theologie Evangelique de Jérémie in preparation for his vocational calling as a Pastor. Daniel has lead multiple ministries such as children, youth, prayer and purity. He has worked at a children’s home in administration, finances, and as a care taker. He also taught english and directed chapel in an elementary school in the countryside. Served as an Evangelist, Assistant Pastor and Assistant Director. He currently serves as Director, National Relations for Mission We Harmony and as a Pastor for Church of the Living God of Jérémie.
Co-Director Cynthia Grandin
His wife Cynthia serves alongside him as Co-Director and International Relations for Mission We Harmony. She is now a missionary for Church of the Living God. She has a background in ministry, emergency medical training and business management. She graduated from Point Loma High School and EMSTA College. Daniel and Cynthia honor the Lord by serving the communities of Haiti, Mexico and the United States.
They work in close collaboration with the Pastoral Couple, Reverend Carl Dimanche and his wife Reverend Darline Pompee Dimanche for the development of Church of the Living God-Mission We Harmony of Jérémie, Haiti.
